The front and rear lenses both include LED fill lights that activate in low-light conditions, combined with HDR image processing that balances exposure across high-contrast night scenes — headlights against dark backgrounds, streetlamps with unlit areas between them. The result is night footage that captures plate numbers and vehicle colours rather than the smeared, washed-out blur that standard night recording produces on lower-spec cameras. 24-Hour Parking Monitoring: Protection When You’re Not There
The parking monitoring mode activates automatically when the vehicle is stationary. If the car body is impacted — a door opened into it in a car park, a slow-speed collision while parked on the street, someone leaning on or touching the vehicle — the dash cam triggers recording automatically and locks the footage so it isn’t overwritten by the loop recording cycle. Motion detection identifies movement near the vehicle and begins recording before contact occurs, capturing approach as well as impact.
